The company welcomes three new hires that complete its senior management team: Ryan Guerrero as Chief Operating Officer, David Vickerman as Chief Financial Officer, and Matt Miles as Senior VP of External Affairs and Marketing. Their arrival will quicken the pace of Type One Energy’s progress toward its decadal goal of commercializing stellarator fusion technology.

From its inception, Type One Energy has sought to build an exceptional leadership team that has demonstrated the expertise necessary to build a stellarator fusion machine which economically and reliably generates the clean energy the world demands to achieve its goal of net zero. Each new leader brings the company a step closer to this goal, applying their extensive supply chain, engineering, manufacturing, and stakeholder relationship skills to pursue the company’s mission.

Ryan Guerrero brings three decades of experience in the aerospace and marine sectors, serving as a design and manufacturing executive at a Fortune 500 company. David Vickerman is a financing expert specializing in clean energy investments, with a proven track record of business-building skills. Matt Miles joins Type One Energy with two decades of experience in global energy markets, the last six years focused exclusively on fusion market development.
