Dorland brings extensive expertise in plasma physics and fusion energy research. His research centers on understanding plasma turbulence and developing innovative techniques to control and stabilize plasma in fusion reactors. With over three decades of experience, Dorland has made significant contributions to the field and is widely recognized for his groundbreaking work.

Landreman is a world-leading expert in the field of plasma physics and magnetic confinement fusion. His primary topic of research is the development of advanced plasma confinement techniques and the optimization of magnetic fields in fusion reactors.
As exclusive part-time consultants for Type One Energy Group, Dorland and Landreman will lend their expertise to the company’s fusion research mission while continuing their research and faculty work at the University of Maryland.
