Christian Garcia

Christian Garcia is a Partner at Breakthrough Energy Ventures, a multi-billion dollar climate change focused venture fund.
Previously, he helped managed venture investments at a large family investment office. He has also served as Director at Honeywell, where he was a principal strategic officer for a $1+ billion OEM business unit. Prior to that role, he was a Principal with Novus Energy Partners, a cleantech venture capital firm, as well as an investment banker focused on mergers and acquisitions in the energy industry.
Christian began his career as an engineer with Boeing Phantom Works, where he worked on R&D projects in areas of next generation spacecraft design and development. He has also conducted research in areas of magnetic levitation technologies for Schlumberger. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from MIT.
